In 1970's Manchester a young man (Richard Beckinsale) and a young woman (Paula Wilcox) meet by chance and fall in love, but their path to happiness is a rocky one. This is not a classic romance, but there are engaging performances from both Richard Beckinsale and Paula Wilcox in the lead roles.
