A tourist (Elke Sommer) get lost in in a city and is given a lift by a couple and their chauffeur to a mansion that is inhabited by a countess, her son and an enigmatic butler (Telly Savalas). She finds herself in a surreal, Gothic world in which people start dying. This is a good example of Mario Bava and Italian horror films of the the 1970's. The plot is strange and unexplained but that is what makes the film.
