A gossip columist (Robert Young) needing a story creates a mysterious woman and then an aspiring actress (Jessie Matthews) decides to become that woman and together they create the illusion of this mysterious woman. The plot is fun and Jessie Matthews is entertaining as the woman trying to get her break helped by her dancing with support from her singing. This is one of the films that made Jessie Matthews a big British star in the 1930's.
