THis films weavers three strands of Alan Turing's life together, being bullied at school but discovering his interest in codes and his sexuality, his pionerring work as a code breaker and the development of the first computer at Bletchley Park during World War 2 and then his arrest in the 1950's. Benedict Cumberbatch gives a very good performance as Alan Turing, that includes an insight into him as a man and also his ground breaking work in the top secret British code breaking centre. There is a good supporting cast from Keira Knightley as his platonic friend and Charles Dance as the senior military man.
