Comment/Synopsis

A woman (Ginger Rogers) and a soldier (Joseph Cotten) meet on a train and strike up a friendship. They both get off at the same station and meet up, but each has a past, he has PTSD and she is on parole from prison, that they do not tell the other. Whilst you can predict where the plot is going, there is a good performance from Ginger Rogers as the woman imprisoned for accidentally killing a man trying to abuse her, with support from Joseph Cotten recovering from PTSD and Shirley Temple as the teenage niece.
