Comment
In the lead up to the American civil war, two friends (James Dunn and David Manners) in navy who are both engaged to young women (Mae Clarke and Charlotte Henry) and end up on opposite sites of the conflict. They each end up the first ironclad ship for each side and confront each other in battle. Whilst the detail of the plot is fictional, it is based on actual events and for the period is a good attempt at an historical drama even though the acting and the model ships are not great.
