A group of German aristocrats arrive at an isolated castle for a shooting party, but one of them is accused of killing his brother, but who is the real murderer? This is an early film from F W Murnau, that is filmed more like a film of a play, and without the creativity of his later work. There is though some depth and passion in some of the characters and a nice twist towards the end. This is not a great film, and mainly of interest today as an example of early German cinema.
