In Shanghai a woman finds a singer who is exactly like her husband who was lost over the Pacific and thought to have sold the plans to a new plane to the enemy. She thinks he has amnesia and uncovers espionage and gets kidnapped along the way. The plot is very weak with a poor script and is really only a vehicle for Phil Regan singing several songs. Evelyn Venable looks glamourous but has little to do.
