Comment/Synopsis

A group of disparate people all arrive at a remote and mysterious Welsh Inn. The owner and his daughter lead each of their guests on a journey of self examination and self discovery. This is well made piece of British drama from the 1940's that examines several different relationships against a ghostly background. The film is notable for early performances from Glynis Johns and Sally Ann Howes (Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang).
