When an Egyptologist dies he leaves strict instruction that he is to be buried in an Egyptian style tomb with a gem bound to his hand. He threatans to come back to life if anyone steals the gem from him. Whilst the plot is nothing special, there are some good performances from all the cast. Boris Karloff gives a good performance in the lead role and he is well supported Cedric Hardwicke and Anthony Bushell as the main male charcters and Dorothy Hyson and Kathleen Harrison as the two female leads, especially Kathleen Harrison as she dreams about the shiek she has met.
