A magician, removes his head and puts it on a table and then repeats this with two other heads and interacts with them. For a film of this age the effects are remarkably good and were much more difficult to acheive in the 1890's. What also makes this stand out is how Melies mixes the effects of film making with the imagination to take film to places that reality cannot reach.
