Kevin Bacon id the big city boy who upsets a small American town and its preacher (John Lithgow) by organising a High School dance. The music is better than the plot, but plenty of energy from Kevin Bacon, well supported by the rest of the cast, makes it enjoyable to watch, not least the scene playing chicken on tractors.
