Kevin Bacon has appeared in a variety of films from drama to Sci-Fi and is married to Kyra Sedgwick. His first film was National Lampoon's Animal House. His next main film role was the slasher film Friday The 13th. The film that made him a star was his performance in Footloose. His films through the rest of the 1980's were not particularly successful, but his career revived with the comedy / horror Tremors that has become something of a cult film. He then stared in the science fiction horror thriller Flatliners. He then want to appeared in more serious films then Tremors so took some small role including in Oliver Stone's JFK. He took a staring role in the thriller The River Wild. Apollo 13 was probably the biggest film of his career. Sleepers was another film filled with big stars and another film from Barry Levinson. This was followed by the romantic comedy Picture Perfect, the horror Stir of Echoes and the thriller Wild Things. The Hollow Man was a version of the invisible man. Mystic River was an emotional thriller directed by Clint Eastwood. He gained critical acclaim for his role in Frost/Nixon.
