A newspaper reporter (Jack Oakie) and his rich friend (Kent Taylor) take a train from New York to FLorida and get involved int solving the disappearance of a man and the theft of his diamonds. The ex-girlfriend (Frances Drake) of the rich man is related to the missing man and he gets involved with the train hostess (Sally Eilers) who also gets involved in the robbery by her ex-boyfriend. There are no real surprises in the plot, but it is a pleasant crime drama. The best performance comes from Sally Eilers who brings an understated calm elegance to her role.
