A man who has been taking money out of his business comes up with a plan to get some money. He gets two men to kidnap his wife and demand money that he will get his father-in-law to pay. However things do not go as planned with fatal consequences. This is a dark comedy drama with Frances McDormand as a pregnant police chief investigating the murders in one of her best performances.
