Comment
A young girl (Mabel Normand) who wants to be a movie star is in love with one man (Ralph Graves) but her family want her to marry another man. She sends her photo off to a studio and is offered a job, but her rival swapped the photo and so when she gets there she ends up working in wardrobe rather than acting. Mabel Normand gives an entertaining, energetic and comic performance, not least the scene where she takes a lion for a walk though the back-lot of the studio. This is a good example of 1920's silent comedy.
