Peter Ustinov plays Hercule Poirot investigating the death of a woman on an Adriatic Island. This is a glossy version of the Agatha Christie book that is filmed against some nice scenery with good performances from Maggie Smith and Diana Rigg. This was Peter Ustinov's second film as Hercule Poirot. The screenplay was written by Anthony Shaffer and the music was by Cole Porter.
