Clint Eastwood created the character of Dirty Harry who became one of the great characters of 1970's police films. He is pursuing a sniper who is terrorising San Francisco with random killings. In some ways this is Clint Eastwood moving his western charcter inot the urban environment as he has many similar characteristics.
