Dick Tracy (Ralph Byrd) investigates a bank robbery where mastermind Boris Karloff uses a new gas to paralyse people so they can rob the bank. There is a steady increase in the number of dead people as Boris Karloff tries to escape the police who are closing in on him. This does not have a very strong plot and not the best of this type of film from the 1940's.
