Comment/Synopsis

A man (Edmond O'Brien) walks into a police station and claims he has been murdered. How he has got to this point is show in long flash backs as well as his exploration into who poisoned him. This film noir has a convoluted plot and Edmond O'Brien's character is not particularly likeable and his girl friend / secretary is loving but possessive. Arguably it is theses elements that make this a classic Film Noir plot. It was remade in 1988, but this is a better version. This was reputedly made in 6 days on a very small budget.
