Comment/Synopsis

woman marries for money, prestige and pride in her house, but at the expense of all her relationships. Rosalind Russell gives a good performance as the woman who is single minded about what she wants for herself but at a cost and eventually she pays a heavy price for her attitude. Actually you feel no sympathy for her as her world implodes.
