This is an early silent version of the Cinderella story that has all the expected elements in it. The visuals are effective for the time when it was made, but it is the performance of Mary Pickford as Cinderella that is the most engaging and shows off her acting abilities. At the time she was marrid to Owen Moore who played prince charming.
