A clerk falls in love with a prostitute but after refusing his offer of marriage she dies in child birth. Years later he is a successful business and his nephew falls in love with a fallen woman (Viola Dana). He starts to reform her before getting involved in family and business matters. This is a mix of drama, romance and social comment. THere are some good scenes particularly relating to the factory fire scene. Viola dana gives a good performance as the reformed woman.
