A man in bed dreams of a woman, a singer, a clown and then the moon turns into a large face and bites the man's hand. This film uses a number of ideas that became the staple of Melies film with the dreams and associated fantasy elements. This also has several cuts to move between some of the characters entering and leaving the film. It was filmed outdoors with painted scenery.
