Bulldog Drummond (Ronald Colman) stumbles into a house to find a body, but when the police arrive it has disaapeared. A woman (Loretta Young) comes to see him and also disappears. More people disappeard and he uncovers a criminal plot led by Warner Oland. Ronald Colman gives a good performance as the gentleman adventurer. Loretta Young brings some elegance to the film. Charles Butterworth is not the best Algy character but ther is a nice cameo from Una Merkel as his new bride. E EClive who plays a policeman wne t on to play the Algy character in later Bulldog Drummond films.
