The first wife (Kay Hammond) of a man (Rex Harrison) comes back as a spirit to haunt him and his second wife (Constance Cummongs) after she is called up by a medium (Margaret Rutherford) during a seance. This is a good film version of the Noel Coward play, which he produced and with David Lean directing. There are good performances from the main leads and some good visual effects for the time the film was made.
