A brother and sister seek to restore the name of their family by proving that their father was not a traitor. In doing so Tony Curtis is raised from serf to knight and falls in love with Janet Leigh. This was the second film that Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh appeared in together whilst they were married. Although both were at the hight of their careers this is not their best film. It is a light historical comic romance but with no great depth.
