Beowulf is a Viking hero who kills Grendel the monster and then years later he has to kill the monsters mother. Reworking of the Olde English poem datin g from around the 9/10th century. The film was made in 3D and various scenes are clearly made to take advantage of the 3D effects, thoughthe animation is still effective in 2D. Robert Zemekis gets a good mix of story and action. The only draw back of the film is that the accents are not good, especially given the quality of the actors providing the voices.
