A history professor (Gregory Peck) gets involved in a plot to kill an Arab prime minister as he and several groups chase a piece of paper with a heiroglyphic code on it and he is aided and abetted by a beautiful woman (Sophia Loren) even though he is not sure which side she is on. There are good performances from Gregory Peck in a slightly differnt role as the more action hero and Sophia Loren as the femme fatale.
