A bored rich man goes to his doctor with depression. The doctor suggests that he lives for a year without using hiis wealth or contacts. Along the way he has several jobs and falls in love with a woman who works for one of the companies he works for. This is one of Cary Grant's British made films and has the feel of an action version of the Secret Millionaire.
