Comment/Synopsis

Michael Caine is excellent as the womaniser in 1960's London, as he goes through several relationships with women. This film confirmed Michael Caine as a major star and also set his working class persona and introduced an accent that was not recieved pronunciation. It is also notable for Michael Caine addressing the audience directly, breaking the fourth wall.
