James Cameron is a successful director and producer and formerly married to Kathryn Bigelow and Linda Hamilton. He is hugely influencial in his appraoch to film making particularly in his use of special effects and CGI. This begins to be seen in Aliens but with Terminator 2 he used CGI to create a character for the first time. This was helped by a $100 million budget, the largest for a film at that time and his salary was more than the budget for the first Terminator film.
