During the English Civil was, Vincent Price is a self styled witch finder who goes around East Anglia killing people he says are witches. He kills the uncle of the girlfirend of Ian Ogilvy, so Ian Ogilvy sets out to bring Vincent Price to justice. This is a dark drama that involves torture, death and sex in which Vincent Price gives a good performance that is scary and unnerving giving it a real horror performance. This is one of the best British films of type from the 1960's.
