A poor woman (Viola Dana) who wants to marry a millionaire to escape her life, bumps into one who is heir to a restaurant fortune. He instantly falls in love with her and marries her, but his father disinherits him because he thinks she is a gold digger. To survive he gets a job and she sets up a successful business. This is an entertaining romantic comedy, which does have a thin plot but it does move along with a good pace. Viola Dana bring a light innocent charm to her role. This is an early Frank Capra film with eraly examples of him exploring camera work.
