When a scientific experiment goes wrong, man is transported to a parallel world, that is similar but different to his. In this world he is a successful writer with a beautiful wife (Joan Collins). This is a good British film that overlays romance against sci-fi background. The best performance is from Joan Collins who brings her ususal elegange to a sympathetic character.
