A woman who was widowed during World War 2 meets another airman and tries to overcome her loss with the help of her friend and her two flatmates. This is an early Jane Russell film which shows her potential, but it is the performances Marie Wilson and Penny Singleton that make the film. The weakness in the film is that the plot does not really explore Jane Russell's bereavement.
