Comment/Synopsis

The 19th James Bond outing with Pierce Brosnan as 007. This time the plot relates to the control the West's oil supply from Eastern Europe by stealing plutonium to make a bomb that can be exploded to look like a nuclear accident. Plenty of the usual, mix of action and romantic interest and a good performance from Sophie Marceau as James Bond's female opponent, Denise Richards as the phyicist helping him and Robbie Coltrane as a Russian Casino owner and businessman. This was the last James Bond film featuring Desmond Llewellyn as Q.
