The new District Attourney investigates the death of his predecessor and uncovers a scandal linked to a major local company. Things are complicated when he discovers the father of his girlfriend is involved. A reporter (Pat O'Brien) also investigates and is involved with some shady women (Evelyn Brent). Not one of the better crime drama's from the early 1930's.
