This is a mix of the life of the Grimm brothers and the telling of three of their stories. The film was made using the three camera Cinerama system. This gave a very wide screen format but had limitations in that the cameras had to be stationary and only allowed medium and long shots. Whilst the telling of the stories are entertaining, the biographical sections are uninspiring and the effects are not very good. The film is also over long which also does not help.
