Comment/Synopsis

Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) investigates the murder of several women all of whom have had a finger severed and this leads him into hypnotism, a beautiful woman (Hillary Brooke) and a plot by his arch enemy Professor Moriarty (Henry Daniell). This is one of a series of films with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce as Holmes and Watson.
