In the future 2 pilots are sent to join a battlecruiser that is earth's only hope of stopping an attack by aliens. This is a standard battle in space film. Freddie Prinz Jr and Saffron Burrows and OK as the pilots but David Suchet is not convincng as the commander of a space battlecruiser.
