Kate Beckinsale provides security at an antarctic base and is 3 days away from the end of her tour of duty when the body of a murdered man is discovered near the base. She has a race against time to find out what happened as more bodies are found, before the base is evacuated for the winter and a storm comes in. This is one of those films that could have been better, but the characters are not developed enough and the scenes that should have suspense do not, leaving Kate Beckinsale's character unconvincing.
