The sadistic son (Christopher Lee) of a noble family returns home years after causing a girl in the family to commit suicide. After he is found dead by the same knife that killed her, the family suspect each other and he returns as a ghost. This is not the best of Mario Bava's Italain horror films as the script is not the best and despite a good performance from Christopher Lee.
