A man (Norman Foster) gives up a promotion and a posting to South America to marry his girl friend (Loretta Young), but problems arise when he gets demoted and then looses his job, whilst she is promoted and moves with her job to another town.The film revolves around how working women relater to their husbands and the expectaions of family and society. The messages it shows are mixed.
