A lives of a group of guests intertwine in a posh New York hotel. An actress falls for a supposed jewel thief and a stenographer for a soldier in need of a life saving operation. This is essentially a remake of the earlier and better Grand Hotel (1932). The whole film is basically lacklustre despite the performances from Ginger Rogers and Lana Turner.
