A writer is invited to create stories to go with models in a waxwork museum. It is a device to tell three separte stories loosely based on Arbian Nights, Ivan the Terrible and Jack the Ripper. This is not the best fantasy to come out of Germany in the 1920's, the sets and characters in the first story are the best part of the film.
