A doctor (John Mills) has a phone call to collect a German woman from the airport, but then she turns up dead in his flat, but it soon becomes apparaent he is being framed but then he uncovers blackmail and another murder. Roland Culver is the detective investigating and Wilfred Hyde-White the undercover policeman. Noelle Middleton has a small part as John's Mills's girlfriend. The plot unravels gradually through the film which is interesting though not the best.
