A boxer (Buck Jones) and a nightclub owner (Helen Twelvetrees) escape to house in the country after a man is killed and there they start looking after the young son of a friend of his. Over a period of years as the boy grows up their antagonism grows into love as they become part of the community. Whilst not a classic film it is engrossing to see the characters developing over time.
