A group of scientists build a machine that will drill down into the earth in an attempt to find space under the earth to restart the human race should they be destroyed by atomic bombs. The script lacks any action or suspense and is also wordy and moralising. Seven men and one woman in a cramped space and no arguments over her, so not much tension in the script. The actng is also very staid and Marilyn Nash is under used in one of her two films.
