The Union Pacific company is building a railway across America but is troubled by other people trying tp stop them and attacks by native Indians. Joel McCrae is sent to solve the problems and gets involved with Barbara Stanwyck who is also involved with the man causing the problems. This was Cecil B DeMille's final black and White feature film and mixes action sequences, train crashes and small scenes revolving around Barbara Stanwyck. This is not one of Barbara Stanwyck's better films as she has a not very good Irish accent that comes and goes.
